It’s as great as it’s going to get as far as a nostalgic experience. I’m 38, and I enjoyed it for what it was, a joyous romp through a world I discovered in my adolescence and played everyday with my father.

I was born in 1985 the year it hit shelves, I approve, and I hope to see many sequels because there’s an entire Mario galaxy out there that can be translated onto the big screen.
