Review of The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) by Lightprotector — 06 Apr 2023

I was a bit anxious after initially seeing the critic reviews, but I decided to reserve judgement until I saw it for myself. Oh boy, I am so glad I did. This movie was seriously everything I expected. For the faults it has with a mediocre plot, it makes it up fully and more with the incredible visuals, soundtrack (!!!), and incredibly fleshed out world with easter eggs all over the place.

Seriously, if you have played a Mario game in the past, I think you will find it very difficult to dislike this movie. This movie is a love letter to all Mario and gaming fans, and that's more than I could've ever asked for.
