This is never going to be a full cliffhanger, hilarious movie. It’s aN ANIMATED MARIO MOVIE. Just to set expectations from the start. Why are people so negative these days ? This is a VERY GOOD KIDS/FAMILY film.

You don’t have to be a Mario fan. BUT for obvious reasons it’s way better if you are. I watched the 1993 Mario (or when ever it was) and was sooo disappointed. But this is great. I don’t know why Chris Pratt is getting so much hate.

It’s like people don’t want to like him because he is now popular, I can’t think of a better cast. The nod to Charles Martinet the original Mario voice as jump man is a great touch. The original voice would have annoyed for a full length movie.

I feel like The 1993 film is almost what todays ‘critics’ are angling for but, would be saying things like “where is the fan service”, “a more popular voice and change for Mario’s voice would have been a great move”….

. we live in a world where if something is going to be popular let’s rip it apart. But praise some artsy crap film. This is fun.
