Review of The Sunset Limited (2011) by Chris P — 13 Feb 2011
There are two paths in this world. You either believe in God or you don't. It's black and white. And with The Sunset Limited, you are given the luxary of hearing both sides of the spectrum from each voice.
The script is highly intelligent and bravely written in an unbiased manner. It discusses the confusions and uncertainties this planet hands out to the human race every day. The most brilliant part of the film is the fact it challenges your mind, but lets you decide what to believe.
The message is for the viewer to obtain. Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson were brilliant together on screen, and it was riveting and awe inspiring to watch these guys talk for an hour and a half in one room together.
Such a shame this couldn't make it to theaters.
