In films like this, the script and the acting are vital and this is no exception. Samuel L Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones both turn in powerful performances, but most of the credit has to go to Jones. Not only for his performances, but also his directorial duties.
The script is fantastically adapted and the end result is a though-provoking piece of brilliance.
