Review of The Sunset Limited (2011) by Jason F — 01 Mar 2013
White, an atheist played by Tommy Lee Jones, is saved from throwing himself in front of a train by a true believer, Black (Samuel L. Jackson). Black believes it was Jesus who had directed him to be there at that train station, at that particular time to save White from his desire to just be done already with this world.
Set entirely in Black's gritty apartment, it's all dialogue driven, with plenty of philosophy and religion.
