Review of The Sun Also Rises (1957) by Ian C — 01 Nov 2010
Didn't expect much from this screen adaptation of the Hemingway novel of the same name, since the brilliance of the author lies in the power of his prose - succinct yet effective. Still, the setting and background of the book easily translate into a colorful and exotic travelogue of Pamplona and its bullfights, on film.
The cast are too old for the care free characters they play. Entertaining nonetheless.
