Review of The Summit (2013) by Pat M — 08 May 2015
Totally riveting. Awesome mountain photography. The tragedy is movingly retold by survivors and family of an Irish mountaineer who died. The young wife of a Norwegian climber weeps as she describes how he is swept off the fixed rope but can somehow hear his voice urging her to get off the mountain.
Not a film for everyone, but a must if you are fascinated by these high places.
