Review of The Sum of Us (1994) by Tommy R — 19 May 2007
This came out in the same era as Priscilla and Muriel's Wedding, and added to the already bulging credentials that Australia was building for making great movies. Crowe seems quite comfortable playing a gay character, though he isnt your stereotypical gay man.
This is a touching story made even more palatable by the charasmatic leads. This was an early launch of Crowe's film career in Australia.
