I like Tom Clancy's films; Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger were excellent political thrillers and The hunt for Red October fantastic. These films are top contenders of the cold war genre.
This one, The Sum of All Fears is just an average movie and by far the weakest of all the Jack Ryan films. That said, it's not a bad film.
