Review of The Suicide Squad (2021) by Ragesteel — 07 Aug 2021

Guys - I was very excited to watch this movie. Unfortunately, a MAJOR let down ensued. Pros.

1. some interesting camera shots and interesting premise, and location. 2. CGI, for the most part, was better than other movies.

Cons.

1. Terrible acting and script - ratcatcher 2 as an example couldnt act if they paid her a million bucks to do so...oh wait..:).

2. EXCESSIVE swear words detracts from the story and enjoyment of the movie.

3. EXCESSIVE and pointless gore 4. Disjointed editing and plot - just a dumb dumb DUMB plot.

5. Characters feel the same - you got flag, peacekeeper, bloodsport, and harley all good at shooting...nothing unique.

6. humor is off - they try way to hard.

Overall did I enjoy this movie -no. It was a bland superhero flick w/ contrived heart and soul being pushed on us. In the end, we dont care about there characters.

Unfortunately, a big disappointment in many ways - there is something here but it just doesnt come together like it should.
