Review of The Sugarland Express (1974) by Scott C — 16 Nov 2012
Has its moments, but pales in comparison to similar fare, such as 'Badlands'. Spielberg seems more interested in filming crowd scenes and car crashes than devoting necessary time to his characters.
Goldie Hawn comes off well -- her dramatic work here differs from the roles she would become known for.
