Review of The Substitute (2007) by Patrick C — 29 May 2012

This is an interesting comedy/sci-fi/horror film. The teacher is a psychic alien who wants to steal the kids and none of the parents will believe it when the kids try to tell them. There are some great tongue in cheek moments and some very good moments of tension.

Something about the production killed it for me though. Perhaps it is that there is too much balance and the viewer never knows where he is headed. Perhaps it was that there are simply too many kids to keep straight who is who.
