Review of The Substitute (1996) by Corey N — 02 Feb 2010
This is a solid action movie. It stars Tom Berenger as a military man who goes undercover as a substitute teacher when his wife gets attacked by a student in the school. Some students are part of a gang and running the school with drugs and fear.
Of course Tom takes names and kicks ass. Your typical movie of someone cleaning up a school from it's problems with gangs and drugs. But it still works. Berenger is great as the tough hero of the film.
I found this to be a entertaining movie. Worth a watch.
