Review of The Stuff (1985) by Andrew B — 21 Feb 2011
Story about vast amounts of neverending white goo spluttering out victims mouths until they finally choke to death. No, it's not The Ron Jeremy Story; but 80's Larry Cohen effort, The Stuff. As usual Larry takes social commentary that extra mile and tackles Consumerism.
Best aspect of this movie is Michael Moriarty's barmy performance. Not as good as Larry Cohen's previous flicks (Q The Winged Serpent or God Told Me To) but worth a watch in the wee hours of a drunken Friday night when your eyes and brain refuse to acknowledge each other.
