The Stuff reminds me of both The Blob and Halloween III because it features both a oozing destructive mass and it has a product that people love that ends up possessing and destroying them. That being said, The Stuff is a fun little B-Movie, which feels most like a more sinister 1950s sci-fi film.
It's funny and will make you think about the products you eat. Ultimately, The Stuff is a rather cheesy satire on advertising and our brand name culture, but above all else it is just silly, sci-fi horror fun.
