Review of The Stray (2017) by Devin B — 28 Mar 2018
This is the best unintentional comedy ever created! Who ever wrote this film is either a comedian or incredibly horrible screenwriter. After being struck by lightning the father is on his death bed, and the dog is instantly killed, he warns the young boys he may die over night and they must be prepared for the worst.
In the morning, the father wakes up perfectly fine, and the children get upset about the passing of the beloved dog pluto, they decide they must bring the pup with them for a proper burial. The dead dog hangs by the neck of the dad and triumphant uplifting music plays as a slow-mo shot of the whole crew hikes down to the camping area in a quite histarical fasion.
Not that I'm a cruel person or anything but I laughed through the entire burial of the dog. When the father drops his sons friends off at their homes after experiencing a horrific camping trip where the dog, father, son and friends all get struck by lightning, he pulls out of the driveway like he is on the run, without speaking a word to the parents of the distraut children.
This film gets 5 stars for its hilariously horribly written script, and over all laughable acting!
