I think going into this movie you should know what to expect from the trailers, or if you have seen the previous Strangers film. That being said it is right on par with the previous, some definite scary moments, a lot of tension throughout, and a fight for their lives.

Don't expect a gripping, thought-provoking movie, and you should be pretty entertained with the movie.
