Review of The Strangers (2008) by Ameen K — 27 Mar 2015
The first time I watched this movie, I was terrified. It's so real and it's inspired by true events. I know, I know, Hollywood movies make most of the things up but some things have to be true. This movie is predictable but it's handled so well. The director really captured the realism and horror in this situation. This movie is very dark and dreary, it's not happy at all. A lot of people are going to be scared of this movie because this situation can actually happen. The movie is very slow though, that's basically my only complaint. I was terrified and I definitely recommend this to a horror fan who is tired of watching ghost movies. This is very realistic.
