If you're wanting to watch a movie that will scare you shitless, watch something else. This movie is suspenseful, but not that frightening. Although I must admit that the scenario of the movie has always been one of my greatest fears, even I wasn't that terrified or really even scared.
It was entertaining enough to see once, but I would recommend renting it once it's on DVD. I love Liv Tyler, and she did do a good job in this role, but I don't see why she's in so-so movies when she's an amazing actress.
It also bothered me that you never got to see the faces of the killers. Although it's based on actual events, I kept finding myself wishing I could tell them to stop being idiots and stay in the house with their loaded shotgun.
Seriously. I guess that just shows how stupid panicked people can get. Overall, it was a decent movie, but only to watch once.
