Review of The Strangers (2008) by Obi-One B — 04 Aug 2012
When compared to other modern horror movies that take themselves more seriously than not, this one is above average, none of them are great, but this one is better than Halloween 2, Friday the 13th(09), and Nightmare on Elm St (2010), with the possible exception of the reboot Texas Chainsaw; but in that vein, the Strangers is more creative and more suspenseful, and remarkably, more believable, as real life domestic terrorism has happened in modern America.
Closer to a 7 out of 10.
