Review of The Strangers (2008) by Ashley L — 22 Apr 2012

For all the flaws in this movie, any it has many, upon rewatching it I've come to decide that this is one of the best horror movies in the last 5 years and is easily the scariest thing I've seen since The Ring.

I'm not one to get unnerved by having horror filmmakers play with the innate fear of being alone in the house, but this film plays it so expertly that I actually get creeped out and nervous.
