Review of The Strange Love of Martha Ivers (1946) by Loni K — 11 Dec 2004
The true scene stealer in this melodrama is Barbra Stanwyck's gowns designed by none other than Edith Head. The movie itself is a potboiler soap about a long ago murder. Stanwyck is much better than the material.
Also starring a young Kirk Douglas.
