Review of The Straight Story (1999) by Micha F — 21 Jul 2008
Some people claim this film is boring, but I can't see why - it's excellent! David Lynch has made a great film that is based on a true story. The pace of the film is slow, which in my humble opinion shows that David Lynch is a professional director.
It is probably the slowest road movie I have ever seen, but definitely one of the bests. How can you not like the sympathetic, stubborn old man on his lawn mower who is travelling such a long way in order to make peace with his brother?
