Review of The Straight Story (1999) by Caleb C — 24 Mar 2012
David Lynch made a film with Walt Disney Studios? What? and it's rated G? ahha. I find it odd that Lynch did this film considering all his other work. It is a very heartfelt and moving story, unlike Lynch's other surreal and dark films.
This is one the whole family can love, although, not really a kids movie at all. It would be something good to get them to go to sleep fast, though. A lot of classic and memorable moments here. What makes this such a great film as well is that it's based on a true story which is pretty amazing.
Richard Farnsworth is missed.
