Review of The Straight Story (1999) by Kyle T — 21 May 2013
I'm a huge David Lynch fan - but I'll have to make this film an exception. I switched it off after 25 minutes. Put it this way: If you bought yourself a lawnmower and decided to drive across the country with it - and decided to film the experience, without telling anyone but your immediate family, would the result be interesting to watch? No.
Not really.
