Review of The Straight Story (1999) by Isadore H — 06 Nov 2016

A lonely and slow moving film that ultimately has exactly everything you would want out of it, and filled with memorable characters and stories. Oh, and also slow moving, almost painfully slow. But for a film with a plot of a man driving a lawnmower over 300 miles, it isn't something that I can necessarily say should not have been done, but that doesn't mean it doesn't drag its feet.

Ultimately, it is a satisfying tale filled with parts that won't easily be forgotten.
