This film is a very tragic story, and what's scary is that it is based on a true story. It is a story that shows how women are treated with no respect and have no rights in certain parts of the world.
All the men in this film are evil to the core. I found the stoning scene to be very graphic, but it needs to be to show the horrors that women go through for no reason at all. I found it to be educational because I was not aware of the specific way the stonings occur, and it is beyond brutal.
This is a film that can educate people on how hate can be spread, and makes you wonder if it can happen anywhere.
