Yes... I know, I dole out stars sometimes like I know someone in the production. However, THIS is a stunning film. The performances. The direction. The script, the story, the scope and the importance is staggering. The fact that this happens in our world today is unconscienable.
If you have a sister, a daughter or a mother, you NEED to see this film. The selfishness and callousness of mankind sadly, never ceases to amaze me.
The civilized person that you are will ache to turn away from the disgusting abuse of power and it's blood soaked results, but I implore you to keep your eyes and soul open during the final half hour of this film.
It is a TRUE story that needs to be repeated until acts like this against our own humanity come to an end.
Be forewarned... this is a brilliant film but it is absolutely heartbreaking. Bring a handkerchief, if you have any empathy within your soul, you will cry.
