A teen comedy in the realm of Dazed and Confused, for better or worse..While being way goofier and gag based, it manages to have semi realism balanced with dumbness. Who hasn't tried to score booze while underage? I liked this a lot more as a teenager.
I'd almost liek to rate it higher but it is pretty one note and stupid. Still some of the gags worked for me.The Blue Oyster Cult sequence and Frankie Avalon cameo have to count for something.
