Review of The Sting (1973) by Bruno S — 25 Jan 2011
A perfect example of how the dazzling reflection given off by iconic film stars can some times blind critics and film viewers to a films otherwise obvious flaws. The plot is over the top without an ounce of credibility and belief is even harder to suspend when you have two leads far too big for their characters.
The result is you really donâ(TM)t emotionally engage with any of it and the whole thing falls a little flat.
