Review of The Stepford Wives (2004) by Earl H — 16 Dec 2010
Good fun and its the pure madness of it that distracts you from certain areas that fail. Nicole Kidman does a good solid job of playing the suspicious former TV producer and Glenn Close throws herself fully into her role as the crazed perfect head housewife.
But Bette Midler seems highly unnecessary and irrelevant to the plot. Saying the madness distracts you from certain areas, nothing can distract you from an appallingly stupid ending.
