Review of The Stepfather (1987) by Ian B — 13 Apr 2009
Top achievement of this film would be its really original atmosphere. It starts of filmed as if it is supposed to be a perfect family setting then as the film goes on, the sets become strangely lit and steady cam is in full effect, making the movie very much like a real nightmare.
Corny acting and gore hardly take away from the film maker's imagery.
