Review of The Stepfather (1987) by Dane J — 19 Oct 2004
Ahahaha, Im not dead. Just couldnt get my password to log in and got increasingly lazy. No one comments on my journal anyways so I doubt anyone is reading but my views somehow went up so someone mistakenly mustve ended up here. Anyways, I have a date tomorrow which is thoroughly surprising but its cool. Still I cant not compare her to a girl that I never went out with so that cant be healthy. But past that point.
Ive seen a few movies so now for some brief comments. Ohh yeah Im 20 now. So I feel really old and like a mega failure.
So tonight I was feeling a little sick so I decided to sit down and watch the Wolf Man which I had never seen. It was quite good, short and too the point. Its always interesting contrasting the fact that it took almost 40 minutes for the Wolf Man to appear and that would never happen these days. It would appear within the first 15 minutes easy. Other wise people get bored. But whatever, Im an impatient bastard so Its my fault too.
On to one of my favorite quotes I just saw on Scrubs last night.
People are not chocolate, they are bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. Brilliant.
On to Team America World Police. I saw that friday night after going to grab something to eat with my friends. It was really funny. Unfortunately it just wasnt the greatest. I mean, basically it was like one long Southpark episode so thats why I didnt give it the highest rating. Not that one long southpark episode isnt funny but it just doesnt make for the best movie.
The Stepfatehr I had to watch for class. Its honestly terrrible. Theres these horrible puns on the fact that the father is a killer, and the plot and acting are aweful. Despite all this, the movie is hilarious. Just because its so bad. Someone else in my class who watched it is planning on trying to have a party, with booze, based around this terrible flick.
Anyways, thats it for any of you that actually drop by.
