Review of The Station Agent (2003) by Corey M — 26 May 2009
Thomas McCarthy has a style on filmming resembles Wim Wenders's works which I can name as easy-storytelling. Life is not full of overinflated pains, livings, happenings which can be brought in sight with expectation of huge welcoming and understandings, sympathy, commisseration whatelse.
.. what makes happenings important is how we re-act against or according to them. I certainly dont pay any attention or pity on being neither dwarf nor losing a child. I still dont pay anything in the name of watching any drama around or about those issues.
These two filmmakers really are gifted so that they make me chase the story of any kind of nonsense or atypical or the "usual".
