5 stars because this movie stayed true to the bible and also had kids laughing at the same time. One of the things I enjoyed most about this movie was the characters. They truly were lovable. Once it starts, the movie doesn't slow down much and if you are a Christian, it will definitely jerk some tears out of you (if you let it).

Another thing well placed in this movie was some contemporary Christian songs and traditional songs. All in all, my family loved it and wants to see it again. This movie is going to get a lot of biased reviews because of the nature of the content, but praise God that the true meaning of Christmas can be found in this movie.
