Review of The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015) by Abigail B — 21 Aug 2015
This movie was an extreme build up that led to no where. I was expecting much more drama & action as described in the trailer and reviews. I am not one to say how exactly prisoners are treated in an actual facility, however, I am almost certain that real guards of an actual prison would not do most of the things that these pretend guards did to their "prisoners.
" It is also highly unrealistic that any sane person would treat innocent humans that way (as the "guards" did to the "prisoners.") Many aspects of this movie are just highly unrealistic.
However, this movie did keep me thinking even after the conclusion, not just about the aspects of the movie, but about real life and the capabilities and limits of mental strength. Good movie, but not great.
