Review of The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015) by Heather M — 26 Nov 2015

I was fascinated by this study when I learned about it in college, lo those many years ago. And I remain so. The quickness with which each group embrace their roles remains frightening to me! And I was reminded by this movie that I was appalled at how long this was allowed to go on.

I believed then, and still believe that Zimbardo should have suffered some major career, if not legal, repercussions for his role in this. That being said, the insight into the psychology of both authority and underling certainly revealed much about us as human beings, and our capacity for wrong doing.
