A drama that could be hard for some to watch, TSPE dives into the psychological experiment of one professor having all students take part in a prison simulation where they play the guards and prisoners.
This film does an excellent job of exploring how your mind works, changes, adapts and ultimately breaks when placed into certain situations or roles. The cast did an excellent job all throughout, especially Michael Angarano and Billy Crudup.
Ezra Miller and Tye Sheridan also provide great performances. Each actor has their own time to shine which I really liked. The camera work is also excellent. They really explored some great angles during some scene.
It may be a hard film to watch for some, but I really enjoyed it. To the point at one point I forgot this was a film and thought I was watching a documentary.
