Review of The Squid and the Whale (2005) by Madeline T — 21 Apr 2011
Two boys deal with their parents' separation. The movie was apparently based on the experiences of the director. Awkward is about the only thing that comes to mind for me about this movie. Wes Anderson's talents are better suited to deadpan humor like the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.
