Review of The Squid and the Whale (2005) by Tom G — 17 Nov 2008
An insight into the effects of a broken marriage, on both the children stuck in the middle and the couple themselves. Multi dimensional characters all with aspects of their persona you can relate to and oppose. The slow pacing and often very dry humour may not appeal to most but this is a brilliant observational film. Not quite a comedy but it does have its moments.
Certainly different, I recommend you check this one out.
