Review of The Squid and the Whale (2005) by Walker — 03 Nov 2008
Funny, quirky and often painful. This film is really such a great look at parenthood, adolescence and stubborness. The characters are all well written and each one is equally problematic. Its great to see characters that aren't so one dimensional and the moment you begin to side with one of them they do something appalling.
The fluids on the locker will forever be burnt in my memory!
