Just because characters don't have the high-gloss sheen of a big-budget flick or lack the bland heroic qualities of typical protagonists doesn't make this a bad flick. To Fantasy and Wendy, I'd encourage you to see something "safe" like Just Like Heaven.
For someone interested in real drama, with witty dialogue, flawed characters and a nifty little soundtrack, go watch this movie.
