Review of The Square (2008) by Ashley T — 06 Sep 2010
Part of the reason I don't like many thrillers is that they are usually so plot-driven that the characters are just devices used to get from A to B. This is one of the few notable exceptions where the characters have room to breathe and develop the plot slowly and surely.
There are plenty of twists here, you never know who knows what, and the ending is a bit of a shocker. It's incredibly dark, but fun to watch.
