Review of The Square (2008) by Jason H — 24 Oct 2010
A dark and gloomy thriller with little hope for its characters and yet still gripping from start to finish thanks to strong performances and a tense screenplay. This is far from a happy movie, and the characters take beating after beating until succumbing to fate.
Those who don't like movies where nothing good comes of what they do will not take to it, but for those that like their thriller with affairs, betrayal, and blood will eat this up. A very fine Australian import worth some attention.
