I am a huge Bond fan, and I truly love each movie for what each one is. That said when I rate Bond movies, I rate them against themselves and not the entire Hollywood movie population.

The Spy Who Loved Me is Roger Moore's best Bond film! It has everything a 007 adventure needs. The story is great. Having 007 team up with his Russian equivalent (who just happens to be female) works very well. Not to mention the twist thrown in that he's the man who killed her boyfriend. The action scenes are all filmed very well (especially the stunt at the end of the intro) and everyones acting was spot on. The main villain Stomberg is a good one but doesn't stand out when compared to his henchman Jaws, who would go on to be one of the most recognizable and loved Bond villains of all time. This is a great Bond movie from top to bottom and if your introducing someone to the Moore era of 007 or just in the mood to watch Roger at his best, this is the film to watch!
