A great Bond film that had nearly all the right ingredients. I enjoyed the photography by Claude Renoir and had a lovely-looking Bond Girl, Naomi, who dies at the hand of 007 in cold blood! The Egyptian scenes are amongst my best in the film.

A far better superior entry than the other previous Roger Moore entries by Guy Hamilton. Lewis Gilbert brought the franchise to a new level with his great sense of humour and enjoy this on every viewing.

Had the pleasure of meeting the director himself (and an autograph in one of my many 007 books in the process!) and still has a great wit and a really friendly person. I'm glad Lewis is still with us and this film is just one of his many highlights that will be watched in years to come.
