Review of The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018) by Toby H — 03 Nov 2018
The whole isn't always as good as the sum of its parts. Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon are very appealing in this film with a lighter touch. The plot itself is on autopilot. It throws the two into madcap action sequences with them squealing a lot.
None of the moments work very well. It's watchable, but never is funny enough or clever enough to lift it above the mediocre.
