I wasn't expecting much based on the reviews, but occasionally they mean very little. This movie is hilarious. It's an expensive, richly filmed farce in vein of Ishtar, Idiocracy, Team America.
The humor is slapstick and the dialogue is a sarcastic response to overly dramatic franchises like Mission Impossible. If you expect to take a film like this seriously, you won't like it. I laughed out loud a few times.
