Review of The Spy Who Came In from the Cold (1965) by Henry G — 10 Jun 2007
'Babefest' is the word that comes to mind on thinking of this picture. Hours of slow, meditative shots of Richard Burton's burning stares, and some of the most beautiful photography you'll ever see.
Even with the ridiculous length of Burton's hair, he manages to out-babe both Oskar Werner and Claire Bloom with minimal effort. Beautiful in more ways than one.
